2020 Basketball Tryouts

Wolverines Basketball Players & Parents

Though it will most likely look different from previous basketball seasons, we are hopeful that we will still be able to offer a Wolverines basketball program this fall/winter.

Like many the other fellow DYTBL teams, we are strongly dependent on securing gym time from the school districts in order to accommodate practices and games for our teams. As most of these facilities are not currently open to the public yet, planning our season is very difficult.

In addition to facility space being an issue we also have the State of Illinois guidelines that need to be followed to insure the safety of our players, families and coaches. In response to the current guideline situation and the DYTBL, we are moving our tryouts to Sunday, October 11, 2020. We are hoping by that time we will have a clear picture of what the basketball season will be like and will be able to answer questions with better details and allow families to make the best decisions for their children.

This will help us monitor the amount of participants at one given time so that we can control the amount of individuals in the gym to assure the guidelines are met.
